Hello, after some suggestions from members on here I asked my dr. to try Effexor.
He added 37.5 Effexor to my low dose Lexapro 2.5 mg. and 3 days in I have very tingly hands and feel like a zombie. The tingling hands and arms bothers me. is this a normal startup reaction??
Pdoc is not available to ask this question till Friday..

Hi Marcus, I was on Effexor for quite a long time and experienced side effects that raised my blood pressure. The tingling hands may have something to do with that. The Zombie effect might just be today (haha) but disorientation I think is a possible side effect.
In any case, check with your doctor. Perhaps check your blood pressure at a pharmacy in the mean time.
