No i dont believe everything that i said on here and i didnt mean to harm anyone.
My psyche unmedicated is trouble, thats why i am going onto clozapine and i hope that the chance for a better life awaits me after.
Unfortunately i needed to learn that lesson very harshly.
All i can say is be careful with what you read o here.

Lamadge I was a psych RN when Clozapine was new on the market and my patients experiences were very good. So good in fact that some that had never responded to a med for schizophrenia actually after a few weeks of adjusting to the med. One lady got married to her long time boyfriend also with schizophrenia and they both were very happy. No med is perfect and yes they do check white blood counts but it's for your health & safety. I think you have made a wise choice. The important thing is that you are willing to accept treatment. Phillipa

I wish you luck with your new treatment. I hope your recent experiences have not been too painful. I admire your persistence and honesty.
Clozapine is perhaps the most effective drug there is for treating schizoid disorders, but carries with it the inconvenience of having regular blood tests. Why was clozapine chosen over Zyprexa?

I think its an amazing drug. Don't get too wrapped up in wondering whether its going to kill you.

They changed. Now i take xeplion.
I also take 10mg haldol, 10mg zyprexa and 300mg Seroquel.
Xeplion is an injectable, a relative of risperdal. Once a month injections. My doctor has high hopes for it, it seems to work for many young people.
