Anyone try generic Geodon yet and find a brand they liked?
Also, I seem to be doing great on 80mg of Geodon, but still need 5mg Adderall XR during the day. Is this bad? Seems like a great combo so far and no hypomania.
40-60mg of Geodon makes me manic, but 80 seems just right, just a little low energy during day. The 80mg & Adderall don't make me manic. But 40 or 60 mg of Geodon (without Adderall) does! Weird.
At night I still take my 3mg melatonin and 2mg Klonopin.
Wonder what my shrink will say?

40-60mg of Geodon knocks me out cold at bed but makes me manic the next day. But it literally makes it impossible to wake up!
80mg makes me normal the next day with a tiny boost of Adderall, but I don't fall asleep as good - even with the 3mg melatonin & 2mg Klonopin.
I know Geodon is a weird drug, but is there a solution to this? I'd like to sleep better. The Adderall wears off around 4:00 pm.

Yes, that's correct.
She gave me samples of 20mg Geodon and knew that I still had 40mgs at home too. She also knew that I have Trileptal, if I needed it.
I deceided to just stick with Geodon at first and try to find a dose that worked BEFORE I added anything else, like Trileptal, IF I needed it.
She gave me Klonopin (1mg. 3 a day). I usually only need 2mg in the evening. Been taking that for several years.
She mentioned Ritalin, but I told her I didn't like it and I liked the extended release Adderall 5mg. She doesn't know yet that I've taken it. But my regular doc thinks I need at least 10mg of Adderall. Nope. 5mg is enough for me.
**Is is safe to take 80mg Geodon, 5mg Adderall and 2mg Klonopin at night? Perhaps I should switch the klonopin out with Trileptal at night and I would fall asleep better?**
So, I see her later this week and we'll review what is working.
I was curious if anyone knew why the big difference in the way Geodon works (see my above posts) and if its ok to take 5mg Adderall for a boost.
It scares me how totally knocked out, almost unwakable, 40 or 60mg of Geodon makes me.
It's not like I'm taking Klonopin to "come down". I don't take Adderall everyday and when I do, the 5mg wears off in late afternoon.
**By the way, my husband loves having back the woman he married 15 years ago**. I know I feel good, but I didn't know anyone else could tell. It's a nice confirmation when others notice!

I say if the Geodon+Adderall combo is working then stick with it! Talk to your doctor too of course...
