Viibryd is a great AD, but it has killed my interest in sex and seriously increased my appetite.
I ended up having to supplement viibryd with Adderall because I felt so sleepy (and I was hoping the dopamine from Adderall would kick in my sex drive - which it didn't.)
Buspar is a good AD, causes more anxiety so I'd have to supplement with Klonopin. Then by afternoon it makes me sleepy, so I'd have to add back Adderall. But the real bummer with Buspar is that at 5mg or 20mg, it causes the most insane eye twitches. Terrible. Those never went away, unless I just stop Buspar. Then, no eye twitches.
Not sure what to do know.
I have to report to my doc tomorrow. While I love the calmness viibryd has given me, I'm not sure the hunger/binges and no sex are reasonable.
Why can't I take an AD that doesn't cause extreme hunger or hinder sex? It's like I have to choose. It's not fair.
Any ideas on where to go from here?
I may not have been as happy on Geodon & Trileptal, but do I go back to it? Geodon switched on me after a year and started making me hungry and Trileptal always depresses me unless I supplement with Geodon or another med.
It's been so many years since I tried an AD, I forgot the almost calm peacefulness they can give. I miss that. But I can't get fat and I need to have a sex drive.
Klonopin, Geodon, Trileptal, Buspar, Viibryrd, Adderall - what the heck do I take?

Pick which is most important to you and go with that. No meds are perfect but that's not a solution for you? Phillipa

I love how viibryrd makes me feel, I just don't like the weight gain and dead libido. The Adderall didn't help a bit. I thought for sure it would kick up the sex drive with dopamine.
Buspar works good, but makes me really tired in the afternoon, so again, I'm overdoing it on caffeine or turning to Adderall.
Not sure what the right med is.
I didn't take viibryrd today and I miss it.
