Lamictal reduces reward to smoke

Posted by rjlockhart37 on July 19, 2013, at 18:09:05

I've started to notice lamictal's effects, its at 300mg....and even right now, i feel kinda spaced out...well not too much but my mind's reward system has kinda changed, defintly not depressed, but not excited and a bit slower....its not like zyprexa slowing, its different.....but the urge to smoke, and the reward looking forward to nicotine has reduced, its like i don't care to have nicotine...i mean i do, but it greatly reduced, its more like i smoke with no reward effect....

it effect people different, but i started noticing that, when i was on 100mgs it didn't do this....

but its weird because at times, its "nothing" no effect, nothing....and then maybe once and a while it does work....

anyways just a post i thought id note for viewers

I found Lamictal to be very mild.

I find less reward to smoke but still the same amount of cigarettes to be kind of a bad thing.
