What's the status of using anti-inflammatory agents in depression? Anyone had any luck?

I have a history of GI problems, and I've noticed that when my GI problems (and inflammation) are at their worst, my depression is at its worst. Some things that have helped to reduce my inflammation, and depression, are low dose naltrexone (LDN) and enteric-coated peppermint gels. I recently started taking the supplement d-limonene, which is supposed to have anti-inflammatory properties, and which binds to the adenosine A2A receptor. So far it's having some antidepressant and anti-anxiety effects on me. I've seen studies that adding aspirin or ibuprofen to an antidepressant can increase its efficacy. NOSH-aspirin looks like it will be a super anti-inflammatory. I've only read about it being researched for cancer, but I'd think it would help depression too. Clinical trials with it probably won't start until next year, so it'll be another ten years before it's available. There are other anti-inflammatory drugs in the pipeline, but I don't know when they're expected to reach the market.

I was under the impression that Minocycline is supposed to have anti-inflammatory properties and apparently can address brain inflammation since it crosses the blood-brain-barrier.
Also, isn't there anecdotal evidence that fish oil may have anti-inflammatory properties as well?

I have heard that about minocycline. And about fish oil, which I take on a fairly regular basis. The Mediterranean diet is supposed to be anti-inflammatory, so I try to consume a lot of olive oil. Earthing (sometimes called Grounding) is supposed to be anti-inflammatory, and so are probiotics.

Earthing (
Grounding)? What exactly is that?

What exactly is that?I've read about people with autoimmune disorders using it to reduce inflammation, and about athletes, especially cyclists, using it to recover more quickly from strenuous workouts. I use it, and find it relaxing. I used it during a recent bout of colitis, and it seemed to help. Here's a site about it:

I was just looking to see if I could find a study about Earthing and C-reactive protein, but couldn't find anything. But here's a study about Earthing (or Grounding) and cortisol levels:
