i started out on 10mg viibryd for a week..them 20 mg for two weeks...i see my dr next week...has anyone taken 20 then moved to 40 and is there a big difference...i see some results..not sure if high enough..i'm taking it for ocd..depression...anxiety...you know all the usual stuff....as always ..thanx

too early to really say phillipa..no side effects at all...not overly great for ocd so far..ok for depression....i would like to go to 40 next week to give it a true 4 -5 week trial....if not i might try your luvox.....maybe luvox would be better for anxiety- which i still have

i take 1.5 ativan to sleep.and .5 one or two times daily....afraid of relying to much on ativan

Being a very impatient person I didn't do what I should many times. But if side effects not intolerable. In sincerity the first ad took a full three months to allow me to feel normal. How do I know the time. I took notes daily on how I felt. And they stopped at three months. So assume that's when I felt good. Good enough to return to work at the time. Phillipa

No luck for me with Viibryd. Went up to 40, 60mg, something like that, maybe even higher. Took it for a year. It did nothing for me. I'm treatment resistant with a major anxiety disorder as my defining feature. All of the SSRIs I have taken over the past five years at high doses have done absolutely nothing for me. I am going to start Nardil sometime soon. Good luck.
