Why do start up side effects seem to kick in about a week after starting or increasing your dose? I always feel good for the first 6 to 7 days and then the start up anxiety hits. The same thing happens to my dad. Why is this?

Thanks! It's a tease, I felt great for a week and then the anxiety hits. That uncomfortable physical anxiety. It's like you get a glimpse of how you will eventually feel but first you must tough out these side effects! Boo

Starting to really wonder about taking meds? Why feel worse before better? Makes no sense to me? Phillipa
