AMISULPRIDE: Caution with xxlow dosages.

Posted by neo on March 16, 2013, at 11:19:54

Hi to all!
Following older messages i post:
I'm normally on Amisulpride, once o twice a week at a dosage of 25-33 mg.
The effect is very good during the days 1 or 2, than fade but not completely disappear.
So I taste a lower dosage (about 8-12 mg) and I got a strange effect:
During the the rest of first day, feel very active but the duration of "mood lifting" is reduced to a part of the day. The following days I suffer a strange "hangover" effect: anxiety, a little depressed, drowsiness, dizzyness and dull mind. Really disgusting....
Of course it could be a "personal" effect, and could happend only to me, but the difference from 25 mg (or more) is very important (and the effect lasts longer).
I forgot: suffer of dysthymic disorder.
Thanks for your attention (and sorry for the awful English...)
