food intake during depression

Posted by rjlockhart37 on January 22, 2013, at 18:09:33

when im depressed, i eat like no other....popeye's chickem, churches chicken, all those places that are great but horrible in health. It's like that feeling of comfort when you feel full, and during the process the dopamine systems increase during food intake....pleasure feeling when your hungry....

thinking of the next slice of pizza when your starving sounds like heavan....

I concur, but what's great is that you're actually able to enjoy that slice of pizza. What if all food started tasting very dull, or worse, that you got to where you couldn't taste it all. Be thankful.

Fried yardbird is hard to beat (unless steak is available), especially if the skin is extra crispy. Moderation is best, though, but you can make the meal a little healthier by choosing mashed potatoes instead of fries. On the other hand, chicken pizza sounds very unappealing...
