So I want to try Nardil again in like 30 days. Let it get out of my system fully.
I was going to use lithium so that it lowers NE and raises SERT which may help with the hyperreflexia, shivers that can start up and urinary retention through NE action.
I don't want to use a lot because I'm not bipolar, so how much may be enough?

How can I lower the amount of norepinephrine from Nardil then? Because it has been a really good anti-depressant and anti-anxiety med.
I just develop hyperreflexia and shivers
I don't even know if the 24/7 shivers are from overload of serotonin or norepinephrine, but my gut says norepinephrine because NE always does crazy sh*t to me.

It could be a reaction to taking another serotonergic drug. Even lithium can precipitate a hyperserotonergic state, albeit rarely. I would consider continuing to take Nardil at a minimum dosage of 60 mg/day and look for the side effects to disappear within a few weeks. I have had similar reactions to MAOIs, and they have thus far disappeared rather quickly.
I could be wrong, but I don't think your approach toward understanding psychopharmacology will serve you. I am not sure you should trust mine either, but I am speaking from personal experience with these drugs.
You might want to titrate Nardil at a rate of 15 mg/day every 3 weeks just to give each dosage a chance to work and to minimize side effects.

>Well right now I'm taking 50 mg of Zoloft + started lamictal (but I have to go off it because it affected my breathing).
So I'm gonna do remeron + zoloft until enough time passes to trial Nardil again since I believe it can work again, I just need a long enough break.
When I was on Nardil with the shivers I only used klonopin or seroquel on and off. No serotonergic meds.
I normally start off on 45 mg but I think that might be a good idea to do 15 mg a week. The only problem I see is that it may take a while to get an AD response. I guess I could use seroquel to help get me by day to day.
And if I were to use lithium if anything I'd do nardil first and then add lithium. There must be a reason as to why I shiver at higher doses. I think that it's excess norepinephrine because I got that on parnate too and cymbalta.
