Simple but helpful. This is something I've stopped doing ever since I got in bad shape. I read something a few days ago about having an unmade bed is a sign of someone who is stretched to their limits in life.
So, I decided to start making my bed again and.. it actually helps. There is something about laying down at the end of the day in a Made bed. It feels nice.

I'd add having s a shower at a reasonable hour to that - get up, make your bed, shower and dress before 9am, and go for a walk to anywhere, just around the block..... otherwise its too easy to sit there all day procrastinating.
When I was at my lowest, i went for days without bathing (gross, I know)..... getting a large, painfull abscess on my groin was a wakeup call that there was somthing seriously wrong with me, and pushed me to get treatment

jono, i didnt wash my hair for 4 months when I had a serious depression. and I only took a bath when my husband physically carried me into the bathroom and sat me down in the tub. Now, looking back,I cant believe it. I agree that you should get up,shower, definately walk. I make a point to go out on the porch and face the morning for a moment after I go downstairs.

I shower at night, read, sleep. Wake up not before 9 as not in bed till 2-4am. Read emails and answer, eat breakfast, wash hair in sink, make up on, no walk, get car out of garage and try to get my husband off he *rs* to go somewhere. As hate being home . Phillipa

I'd put this right up there with breathing exercises.
