hello....doing fine...anyways well on this liquid stuff now its almost been 3 week or more...i've yoyoed up and down on weight. I've learned if I eat solid food, the metabolism is shot and i gain lbs. So its not really effective with liquid fast with real food...i've gotta stay with the planned weight loss when I first started. The shakes im having 3-4 daily have lots of vitamens, and amino acids including tyrosine and dl phenylanine...but i've been taking more vitaments on top of it...lots of B6-B12 for energy. But the nutrients i need are being fed through pill vitamens and still its difficult to feel at full health, dinner at night is a have to...i went 2 weeks with only shakes 5 times a day but i felt like sh*t, loss of energy, feel sick...i had to start eating some kinda of food to keep me going. It makes me mad beccause the Optifast liquid diet you go months on pure liquid shakes, oprah did it a long time ago and lost 70lbs. That was my original plan to go 4 months on this...and then this problem came up.
But if I feed my body vitamens and some carbohydrates, small small tortillas, tiny dinner but still its hard! hungry all the time, take my zyprexa at night, god it makes you crave sugar and carbs like crazy...once I get them in me...i feel fine.
So, vitamen liquid fast, and small dinner is the only way im going to lose the lbs fast. I'm not excersing right now...and that's why its been slow. Start jogging again.
anyways anyone have any suggestions for a better healthy intake, im eating carrots and cellurary when im starved at night.

Oprah is not a good example for diet plans. She's proved that time and time again. Fail.
The only way to lose weight in a healthy manner is eat the right foods in smaller portions and exercise. Period. In fact that's how Drew Carey and many others have done it. If you eat right you rarely need vitamins, it's in the food. You have to change the way you live. Don't waste a penny on diets.
Our problem, Zyprexa and Seroquel, is the changes these bring on if you're stuck with a 'gene variant' from hell.
I can eat right for two days and before I know it I'm ordering a large shake at McDonald's. I have to have it!
Even doing everything right doesn't guarantee sh*t on these meds. I so want to be done with them. My face looks like somebody pumped it full of air. It won't happen.

yea phil....went to race track to get some coffee and smelled hamburgers from some place burgerking or somethin...next to it...just the smell activated that pleasure feeling when you get ready to eat....but i can't have it....not for the next 5-6months...shakes, and small dinner, basically raw ration diet. The Dexedrine Diet sounds so good...feel alert, motivated, and not hungry one bit until it wears off...when i was on dexedrine span. i got down to 190....if i didnt eat i would of been at 160....and that's my target to get down too....
the excercise is like....a part of any diet..lol...i jogged 1 week ago and it messed up my knee...from the weight, i had to put heat on it everynight...sh*tty stuff always happens to me. But the stairmaster, bicycle treadmills are good, and that's what im aiming for when i do start.
I've lost 13lbs...goes up and down, yoyo like style...ill touch one guilty pleasure food...thinking i can sneak it without my body adding it....security inside the metabolsm is putting the chunck into jail keeping it on me...
yea...but im vitamined up...not really a big diffrence...people always say vitamens are the wonderpills in the morning...there not really that imporant, i feel the same...nothing refreshing. Dexedrine is my vitamin.
thanks for the post phil...:)

Yeah man Most of the stims don't reduce my appetite unfortunately. Not like the old days when I used the other garbage. My thumb was bigger around than my neck. Not really.
Good luck and eat those colorful vegetables. Proud of you for not letting that burger get to you. That's what it takes. Maybe I'll get inspired.

You should eat carbs (high fiber ones, in low amounts) in the morning. High protien low fat items at supper so you are not as hungry in evening. Lots and lots of veggies and fruit (not too much fruit) but if you eat it late in small amount might help you get to sleep if hungry. Almonds are the best protien. Yes you need to exercise.
Thats how I lost 30 lbs in one month ON 10mg zyprexa. Kept it up for a couple years and was normal weight again. Went from 235 down to 170.
This is the end of the thread.
