Haha...I just noticed the pic (I've been really sick the last 2 weeks and haven't been here much).
It's Drugstore Cowboy Bob ;)!

thanks Phillipa. They're not sure what's wrong and I'm waiting back on a bunch of tests. I developed an acute case of full body edema with cellulitis around my lower legs. Fortunately, kidney and heart failure was quickly ruled out, but I'm on a diuretic and antibiotic. Not fun. A bit nervous to find out what's wrong, but as I said on a different thread, this is way easier than any psychic pain I've experienced.

This is not good. I honestly can't think of what could be wrong. Why the antibiotic? You swelled and had high CBC and temperature?

Hi Phillipa,
Thanks for your concern. So, all my blood tests and scans came back normal, thankfully, which is great, but left me and my doc totally baffled. He said he basically can't figure it out. It could've been a virus that manifested that way. Fortunately, the swelling and the cellulitis have gotten significantly better from the antibiotic and the diuretic. Weird, huh? I'm physically in good health, but I got this inexplicable acute issue. Now I'm starting to PMS, so as I physically get well, I literally can feel my depression and anxiety flaring. Ugh. Can't win.

Bryn it disappeared. How scarey it must have been. Strangely when that age a diuretic eliminated PMS for me. I figured if some water retention elsewhere at that time maybe also swelling in brain. So from B6 which worked went to Diazide I think it was and it worked. Took it for a few days before. What you had I have never heard of how much weight was gained? Phillipa

So scary! I gained 10-12 pounds (my baseline weight is 105-110). Can you imagine?? Someone in the neighborhood asked me if I was pregnant (which didn't bother me as I was sick, but still...). It's not fully gone yet :(. I'm still on the diuretic and antibiotic. My feet hurt too much to wear shoes. Grumble, grumble...
I saw my regular doc and another doc who is close to my family (both excellent physicians) and neither can figure it out.

I wouldn't even know where to google? If two docs can't figure it out I"m sure at a loss. Phillipa
