fanapt really makes me have BAD insomnia and makes my throughts really wierd and unable to think correctly. I discontinued it completely until I see the doctor. Zyprexa is so much better for me, it reduces anxiety...all though it makes me sleep alot more, but it bring relief much to unwanted thoughts. I was in 20mg...i have taken 40mg it just makes me sleep alot more, its difficult to function at that dose...
so...i was looking at something called clozaril for sleep...and its also good for thought disorders. I know they will definelty mention Seroquel after I tell the intense insomnia I've been having.
any suggestions??

Clozaril is nasty stuff RJ - lots of side effects, one of which can prove fatal.
Also highly sedating.
If I was you, and if your doctor is willing, I'd go back to Zyprexa, you know it works for you.
If you want somthing less sedating, you could take risperdala as your main med, and add in a low dose of Seroquel at bedtime for slep.

Take 10mg zyprexa? All the symptoms you have mentioned since stoping the zyprexa sound like symptoms of coming off zyprexa. You were so used to it you didn't know it was working.
