i know you used to be a nurse but this is serious...im coughing up flym and it has blood...its from smoking i know for a fact....what needs to be done...im quiting for a couple days.

phillipa....i just have to say I rerember you used to say your my 2nd mom...im so sorry for not keeping in contact with you, I just, im not a social person but I rerember about 7 years ago you used to always be encouraging and leave it with 2nd mom, im sorry for whatever I did to make it disappear...i should of kept the mindset, all the crazy stuff I've posted...altering my image. I'm sorry.
I hope we can restore the good relationship...yet I have to tell you that i'm not a social person, I don't much talk small talk execpt people I know with a loving relationship...
I'm going in to the doctor at 2:30...i called them. So we'll see...

I'm going to the doctor down the street from me... 2:30...its not alot of blood but when I first coughed it up there's was ALOT...it freaked me out. They may use high grade antibiotics and i'm going to have to stop all bad habits for a week. Thanks for the post....kat!!

they just to change because the nurse practiner that see's me wasnt in today...im going on tommorow at 5:30pm. Their going to do samples of the flym and the blood....im having diareea and its been happening for over 2 weeks now...
ugh....im sick of all these medical problems when im 25 and suppost to be bright and healthy.

dont be too scared, you've probably just burst a small blood vessle with all the coughing, like a blood nose from blowing too hard, but see your doctor to make sure!
Maybe he could give you some codeine for a few days to stop the cough? This wont cause SS like dextromethorphan can, and would give you a lot of releif.

> rawww...that's a shame you couldn't get in today. still, I'm happy you're going tomorrow. are you still coughing up blood? If you can, keep and take a sample of your phlegm/blood with you to your appt tomorrow so they can culture it.
In the meantime, take good care of yourself...eat well, lots of water, no smoking!, and lots of rest.
