Right now, its 300x3. I was thinking a slight bump to 1200, and do it in 2 doses of 600. Viable solution? I'm always missing that mid-day dose.

if you want longer periods there is medication called Horizant...its a extended release for of gababentin. Ask your doc about it...

CE how does neurotin effect you? Is it like a benzo? Phillipa

Supposedly, its a mild mood stabilizer. My shrink said I needed to up the Abilify (from 15 to 30) and add a mood stabilizer. I didn't want lithium, tegretol, depakote, or trileptal, so I said "neurontin?!?" and she OK'd it.
It *is* good for anxiety and agitation. If I was already on a benzo, I wouldn't switch out, but I might add it in for remaining anxiety. For me, 900 (300x3) has calmed me down a good bit w/o making me too stupid.
I *did* have some loopiness going on, but that seems to have gotten better. Maybe I adjusted to it, maybe my anxiety levels went up a notch..who knows? Its OK.

Lyrica is dosed twice daily. Since their related, I imagine you could take two doses of Neurontin daily.

I'm late chiming in, but it would be absolutely safe to take it that way, you would just run the risk of having more sedation after each higher dose. As I said, it's certainly safe, but always best to check with your pdoc.
