If you disagree with smoking marijuana please refrain from responding. I'm curious to those who have had this interaction. I have smoked marijuana off and on sporadicly for the last 10 years or so. I only smoke roughly once a month now or so. I started taking Klonopin in the past few years and have noticed since then Marijuana gets me high but clouds my brain like I cannot describe, and the negative mental effects of the high last far too long, often 12 hours and beyond. Anybody else had this interraction?

yea.....a couple...maybe 2 months ago I went to meet someone and they had weed...it was actually the DRO form of cannabis, the potent form. I smoked it....didnt really feel much, but as time went by....its like all my reality got fogged and put me into feeling I was in a dream....cannabis is good for some people who respond good to it...get the relax feeling of it. Me...mm mm it makes me go in and out of reality....i mean really I've done meth and I responded to it and only felt good. Weed makes me have anxiety and feel unreal, but that's only me. Most of the populartion it provides a relief or relaxed and eased feeling.
Cannabis with a benzo.....alot of times people will take xanax with it and get the "zoned" feeling, vary numb feeling, relaxed, don't worry about anything, talk about abstract things.

Strangely enough, I take lorazepam when I smoke marijuana to counter the effects of anxiety mary sometimes causes.
Klonopin is a different beast, though and has a long half life. I'm pretty sure the two are interacting poorly.
