It's unfortunate some are preoccupied with idealogical politics so much, it distracts them from realizing the health insurance law protects the most vulnerable mentally ill from choosing between food and medicine, to treatment or a life of madness.
No one should have to make such choices, especially those already suffering from mental illness. This is a great article.

Working as an RN I was never discrimated. I worked with many RN's that had lost licenses and recovered them through employee assistant programs. The Granddaughter of a neighbor during her first year of nursing was diagnosed with severe depression the hospital sent her a pdoc. She was put on meds. Due to high stress levels in hospitals she decided to accept employment in an MD's Pediatric practice and has full insurance. So discrimation isn't Always a problem. Her health insurance covers her meds. Many of the RN's I worked with were hospitalized for bipolar, drug abuse, And later after paid 6 month leave or less depending on the level of functioning began again to work in their former jobs. So I don't see this personally. At one time during nursing had a six month leave of absense during adjustment of first ad paxil and xanax. No problem returning. I was a charge nurse and resumed my position. This is me. Phillipa

Sorry but I disagree.
Yes we need some financial help. This bill is a bad way to attempt that. We deserve better.
Repeal and replace, leave it in force for all already on it while transitioning to a better policy. imo
