Ok. Ive been babbling alot about medications lately. Captodiame is a novel anxiolytic drug that might even aid to some degree in benzo withdrawal.
That im currently in the mids of. Days seem really hard so i often come to find if there is some meds that relieve the anxiety.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15383182
about benzo withdrawal with it.Seller:
http://www.topchempharma.com/products.htmlNo territory restrictions. Seems it might be worth a shot. But to find a psychiatrist willing to prescribe it, thats a whole other story ;) Its not a benzo.

Ive tried several times to taper off .5mg klonopin that Ive only been on 4yrs.I cant do it,and Ive tapered off zoloft and remeron,so I know there's discomfort. However, this is on a whole nother level.I wish we could be knocked out for a week and wake up over the worst of it. Ive thought that remeron might help in withdrawal, but like you,I cant take over 7.5mg or it makes anxiety worse.I just figure that i have no side effects from klonopin, and nothing better to take for my anxiety,so I stay on it.Or just do it,just taper off it and prepare for war.

Where are you from gadchick? Just trying to re-evaluate our options. Because there is a similard drgug then mirtazapine, but only with the sedating effects....
The sedating effects i believe mostly the 5ht2c antagonism is what gives relief.thefan

yea fan....this is vary similar to Hydroxyzine ..its a antihistimine mild sedative. Used vary much by public health care professionals....no addiction links, effective for anxiety after alcohol and benzo withdrawl....
To narrow it down...Hydroxyzine is more anxiety relief I'e taken it from doctors usally 100mg at night and 50mg during the day, Diphenhydramine is more of nighttime aid for sleep muchly seen in Tylenol PM and other OTC sleep aids. It's good for anxiety but it has hynotic effects that can impair daily functions.
This whatever medication captodiame obviously has anxiety relieving propterties but I don't know its exact effects. Anyways...cool you posted this...still they sometimes use hydrox at addiction clincs for anxiety and withdawl from sedatives. Just have to tell the medical community about this mediation and if it would be more effective than the current treatments.
