I just started neurontin for chronic derealization and have read that it causes weight gain. Is this due to lowered metabolism or increased appetite? My appetite hasn't increased; should i still expect weight gain?

no. many people wont gain weight on this one.
i have a girlfriend who is on it and has gained a good amount of weight.
i on the other hand gained maybe a pound or two when i started it. only because it lowered my anxiety and i gained a normal appetite back.
