How long for Effexor to actually leave my system?

Posted by Novelagent on May 19, 2012, at 1:19:23

Whenever I switched to a different dose or lost a steady state of my dose by forgetting a dose, Effexor would do two things to me for the next 7 days: inner restlessness, and dizziness upon standing after sitting down.

Well, it's been 2 1/2 weeks since my last dose of Effexor, and I still have both of these side effects. Any ideas why?

Novelagent,
You wrote,[...still have both of these side effects. Any idea why?...].
In my study of what mind-altering drugs can do to someone, I find that the drugs that you have taken have the potential to damage structures in your brain. These structures are regulators for body processes such as sleep, thirst, sex, movement, endocrine regultion, and other regulatory processes.
There is an indoctrination that can be created in a site such as this by the owner and his deputies controlling the content so that one could be led to believe a particular concept by the nature that the administration can prohibit particular content, allow what could have the potential to be adverse to one to be allowed to stand, and in my case to prohibit me from posting the foundation of Judaism as revealed to me and prrohibit me from posting the history of pssychotropic drugs in relation to a particular time period and how and why the drugs were used then.
You see, a lot of the drugs mentione here may not be new drugs at all, but just new names for knock-offs of old drugs used to kill and control. A lot of these drugs have chemical constituants that are nerve agents used in pesticides and gases used in mass-murder as in the subway atttack in Japan that killed many, and in a riot control agent that can cause cancer and death.
But the question as to your situation is that I am prohibited here by the nature of Mr. Hsiung's prohibitions to me, to tell you how you can be healed of the effects that you mention. And to be free from mind-altering chemicals and live a new life. I am so sorry to see the people here led to think that (redacted by respondent) and if you would like to know how to be healed and have a new life, post here on this board in the thread that I started that is titled,{Lou's Little Garden}. I could possibly lead you to being healed and have peace and joy.
Lou

Effexor should be out of your system within a week. Actually, I think most people eliminate the majority of the drug in 3 or 4 days.

Depressive rebound, perhaps. This is a form of withdrawal. You might have kindled this state through repeated withdrawal events such that symptoms persists well beyond the point where the drug has cleared your system. For how long were you taking Effexor? What dosage?. Your symptoms might also represent a *partial* relapse into depression. Your system might be is a "fight-or-flight" mode due to being in this in-between state. Do you have dry mouth or blurred vision? Elevated heart rate of palpitations? Constipation?

Once it's gone shouldn't it be gone? I never used to think of anything beyound this as I was always relieved when knew a med was gone. I feel better and better each day as the med left my system. Why do so many seem to have problems withdrawing from effexor. Remember back when BeBe had a petition for suing for effexor withdrawal. I was in contact with her a few years ago. She's fine and off all meds, working and feeling fine. Hope she still is. So maybe this will also happen for you? Phillipa
