Hi everyone,
Has anyone come across any really good medication tracking and/or mood tracking iPhone / iPad apps?
I work with developers and I would love to create something that is actually useful. My vision is for you to be able to include all the meds AND supplements you take, and just check a box on a daily basis with what you've taken. And also ask some mood questions on a daily basis, to hopefully better correlate medication changes and mood changes over time.
I know there are mood trackers out there, which are kinda "eh", and I know there are "med trackers" out there which are kinda "eh", but I would love to create a product that did both, and most importantly, connected you via discussions to fellow members who were similar to you (kinda like patientslikeme).
Anyway what do you guys think? Any of you software developers and potentially interested in helping out?

I seriously would love to join you...i just have a lot of complications that are in the way.
For tracking...Apps designing apps? you need something to help you keep your motivation and sustain focus...
Wellbutrin
Adderall
Nemanda
Effexor [may not be the best]you will have to learn to have focus yourself on to these apps, its hard looking at a little screen on a phone for a long time. Try a laptop, set it up some how where you use can use skype and make your laptop into a phone, a big phone..
Go get it!!

I think this sounds like a great idea! You could have it be extremely flexible: track meds - enter as many as you want; track moods - enter the ones you are interested in; or instead of moods track whatever symptoms/side effects the user wants.
This could have a much more broad appeal than just psychology, too. It would be a little entry-heavy in the beginning, perhaps, if it turns out like I'm thinking. As to the screen size, well, more people are getting tablets. And it's possible Microsoft 8 will be more app-focused, too. I'd love to see this.

I've been searching for a good iPhone tracking tool for moods and variables that may affect moods for forever. If someone could make one, I'd seriously pay 20-30 bucks for it.
What I'd like is customizable data. So, maybe I want to track running, alcohol consumption, vitamin B6, therapy sessions, and see if they correlate to mood shifts. I'd like the mood tracking to be customizable too--my depression and my irritability/rage are related, but different. I'd like to see an app where this data can be entered, graphed, and output so that you could see if there are correlations, for example, between interacting with certain people, exercise, time spent meditating or playing video games, etc.
I am really interested in th quantified self movement and I'd love to have an app that allowed me to input all the things I wanted to track, not just a few preset categories.
I love my iPhone and I want my whole life in it, but right now I'm stuck with old fashioned graph paper, colored pens, and just drawing the lines to guesstimate correlations.
This is the end of the thread.
