nuerontin and cymbalta were controling my pain till a couple weeks ago. I haven't been smoking pot for about 2 weeks. I'm going to get some bud to experiment if the pain drops when I resume smoking. I'd rather not smoke cause it contributes to the disorder in my life and depression but every day the pain is worse. I'm becoming dissabled with pain as I was before I got on the nuerontin and went up to 120mg cymbalta, gosh is pot having some synergistic effect with the other meds?

Medical marijuana is legal now in many States and I think its primary use is for control of pain. It may or may not have been working in synergy with the meds, but it was at a minimum doing pain relief by its own mechanisms. And then also to consider mixed in with that is withdrawals.
In terms of the meds you might consider switching out cymbalta to savella. I spent a lot of time last week just googling and surfing on savella and I saw so many stories of people who got much better pain relief, sometimes miraculous, when switched to savella from cymbalta. Neurontin was in the mix with some of them as well and they turned to savella when neurontin pooped out. There were I think only 2 stories of people I found that had miserable experiences with it. Anyway just thought I would mention it.
This is the end of the thread.
