you should type minocycline as ADDON therapy to standard anti psychotic therapy, i am already taking seroquel and abilify for psychosis,

the minocycline is for negative and cognitive symptoms, and theres a high chance it will affect me, as i already responded to an anti viral agent amantadine in the past

That's interesting.

I did a bit of poking around for you. Minocycline interacts pharmacologically with the brain to influence GABA and glutamate activity. It does this through producing changes in gene expression. This is in addition to its antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties. I'm not saying that this stuff will work, but it is conceivable that it could.

A cool question to ask the doctors is why they chose minocycline over doxycycline.
