I am currently taking 112.5 of Effexor and have had a great reduction in anxiety. So it has having positive efffects. However my ADD seems to be getting a little worse in the sense that I can not really get into anything. I am also constantly fidgeting (bouncing on leg, wiggling fingers curling toes) I feel just restless and unable to focus on anything.
I am currently taking adderall IR 10 mg twice a day. I know that the effexor is bumping my seratonin up and possible NE as the doasge gets higher thereby reducing my dopamine.
I see my doctor next week. What should I do? Is a switch to ritalin the answer? Could a the addition of abilify in a low dose or a dopamine agonist help with the restlessness and inability to concentrate?
It is a relief not have anxiety anymore but my focus and motivation have dissipated.
Any ideas or similar situations?
