Try generic luvox as you can take customized doses and it's inexpensive. How bad is your ocd? Time consuming or things like repeating worry in you head? Sometimes ocd can be good if not taken to extremes when a job depends on detail. Doctors and Nurses most have some ocd to be good at what they do. Me have a lot of dumb superstitions and sometimes small rituals but don't interfer with getting going. I do pick cuticles. Phillipa

mostly doubting and mulling things around in my head...my job unfortunately has detail and causes me stress ....not sure my dr. would give me luvox with tegretol,,,,because it raises tegretol levels

I agree with clomipramine. It would likely be good for pain too.
An alternative would be paxil (more potent in lower doses), perhaps with a TCA for pain.

Lower tegretol dose will solve that and yes I know about the glass I am trying to fill it. Phillipa

Prozac made my OCD worse. I've been on all the SSRIs and none ef them compare to the relief Clomipramine brought me.
Remember, you cab augment your treatment with an AAP.

At 150mg a day what are the general side effects? Is sweating as bad as ssri's and is dry mouth really bad?

I agree.
