Hello all
Due to a severe pinched nerve my doc wants me to take a 10 day course of prednisone. I tend to be very sensitive to things like this, but at the same time, I'm in a lot of pain. Is there a way for me to take this stuff without experiencing mood swings etc. Right now I just take Ambien for sleep and 900mg a day of gabapentin.

I took prednisone when I was on Lithium monotherapy. I only experienced anxiety and never once did Prednisone cause mood instability. However, I have experienced manic symptoms from some other steroid. All it took to come down was 200 mg of Seroquel. Do you have Seroquel?
