Pregnanaolone vs dhea

Posted by Uncouth on October 21, 2011, at 9:38:01

Can anyone describe the difference in terms of efficacy here! For depression or bipolar depression specifically. Preg is supposed to have some additive stabilization properties I hear,

I am using Dhea now but used preg in the past, just dnt know which is better,

DHEA does nothing for me. If you had some issue with low DHEA it might.
Chromium picolinate is good stuff.

Its another supplement thats supposedly helpful for raising metabolism and mood. Honestly its a crapshoot like anything else. Who knows if it really does anything if you already have enough of the mineral in your diet already.

Does it depend on your levels?

I know my DHEA is always a little too high, so it makes no sense to take more.

I don't know if you test for pregnenelone?

You'd need one of those complicated hormone maps and you'd need to know all your levels for the downstream hormones before you could say anything useful.
