Hi all
Is Deplin (or L-Methylfolate) beneficial if the gene test shows up negative? I have just had this test done and it was negative. I have been taking L-Methylfolate for some months but cant say that it as has made any real difference for sure.
I remember somebody mentioning that it could help even when the test was negative...?

You got the gene test done? Did you ask the doc if would help if gene was normal? I took it for a couple of months but didn't notice anything good or bad. I will be interested to see if when gene normal it still helps. Babblemail Susan Weiland from Deplin and ask her as she posted on here about Deplin. Phillipa ps could be Whelan?

I would think possibly. There are some other factors that can influence the conversion of folates besides the gene.
