its a reformulation of a generic which could be purchased at minimal cost.....my insurance has it as a tier 3 $50.00 co-pay but you need prior authorization.....i think it would be a stretch for a dr. to prescribe it hoping that insurance will cover it when their are so many generics that can do the same thing.....then telling the patient it will be $50.if approved at all...my 2 cents

I take the generic short acting form it's fime $7.00 for a month's supply medicaire part D on the formulary. Phillipa
