Greetings from a newbie. I have MDD with an underlying dysthymic disorder. I'd been doing very well on Effexor (150 mg) until the bottom dropped out. I now feel empty, completely without energy, and anxious. Since I've tried many other meds in a monotherapy approach, my pdoc suggested adding Lamictal to boost the Effexor. I took my first dose today. For those of you who take Lamictal and are helped by it, how long before you noticed feeling better? Thanks.
