Hi
I have bipolar II disorder and it is nearly under control (mood stabilizers). The problem is that I developed a social phobia. I take Luvox 200mg (Fluvoxamine) but it doesnt help very much against my anxiety. I took as well 300mg but under this dose I had insomnia.
I tried alsoCitalopram, Paroxetin, Sertraline, Clomipramine, Maprotiline, Doxepine, Mirtazapine, Venlaflaxine etc...
Now I am on:
in the morning:
- 100 mg Luvox
- 75 mcg T4
- 10 mg Abilify
- 100 mg Lamictalin the evening:
- 100 mg Lamictal
- 100 mg Luvox
- 900 mg Orfiril (Valproate)
- Lithium as much as the blood level is 0.7 mmol/l
- 50 mg Sinquane (Doxepine)The mood stabilizers work well together but I think my tremor from the Lithium has been getting worser when Valproate was added. Now my doc has fear to take it out of the cocktail. What do you think? Should I try also a MAOI against my social phobia?
many thanks
ben

did you have social phobia in the past, or does it seem to be hte result of a drug you are taking? If the latter, removing the cause is the best course of action.
