I am suffering from abilify withdrawal as I am extremely tired and listless all of the time. It has been a month. I tapered down from 5 mgs. I still feel miserable. What has been your experience? How long does it take to leave the system?

it might be the 5mg dose that is causing this.

It takes a long time. I took abilify for 2 weeks one time and was in withdraw for 6 weeks. I was on 15mg of abilify and switched back to zyprexa. It seemed the zyprexa was not doing much for the 6 weeks. The thing is that for the 6 weeks I felt worse than when I was on either drug.
Anouther time I took abilify for 6 months. I felt awfull when I was on the abilfiy and off the zyprexa. And felt realy bad once I went off the abilify and back on the zyprexa. It took years to get over the abilify withdraw and I'm not positive I'm fully over it. But feeling beter now.
