I take a large 6 inch speaker magnet and pass it over my head 5 or 6 times when I am really not feeling well. I swear by it, but it leaves me feeling a bit wonkey sometimes.

i wish you got more responses. i'd actually be interested in giving the fisher-wallace thing a try. anxious to see double-blind results.
Please post if you find results of studies done with this (recent)
thanks!

yeah sounds like it could be an effective alternative. A lot of glowing endorsements from various psychiatrists yet haven't heard anything from the consumer side of things. Think I'll wait till I hear from the folks themselves before attaching a couple electrodes to my head for 700 bucks.

This was suggested to me too by my pdoc. He told me you have 90 days free, so if insurance turns you down, you can send it back. My therapist let me use his, but I stopped after having a weird reaction. That's so uncommon though. Seems like it works for everyone else. The alphastim is, my doc says, good but not as good, but costs less. Anyway, My experience was not good, but that seems to be rare (I'm rare, and lucky???!! Yeah.) I was also doing LENs, which the therapist does in sessions. Have you ever tried that?
