Seems some have mentioned an improvement when starting a med that lasts three days and then disappears or going off a med the same. Anyone with any ideas why this is so and what it means. I experience the same thing and quite frankly it's depressing or discouraging makes me feel like not taking meds. Wonder what would happen if just stopped them all. I know they say seizures did it once in 20's and was just dizzy felt like on a rocking ship. After two weeks took a tiny dose of valium and was fine? Phillipa thinking too much again

You're pretty sensitive to meds. You're still on lovox (sp?)? Are you thinking no benzo's? My mom took Ativan daily until she was almost 70 and was fine. Heart and diabetic issues got her. If not, she'd still be taking it.
What do you think of the stablon med being discussed? Though Medicare probably wouldn't cover it as it's
imported. Are you thinking about the link between AD's and osteoporosis? I read the article
about nitroglycerine cream. Interesting. 7% gain.

FB seriously don't know what I'm thinking. Seems one thing after another and know you relate to that as well. Yes the nitroglycerine cream was interesting but wonder how effect BP as used in cardiac patients and does lower it. Also stops angina.Phillipa ps treats a better word.

You've been on the same meds for a long time. Maybe it would be a good idea to see what your baseline is. Of course, don't stop everything at once ... wean yourself down. You might not be on the right meds for your disorder. Also, don't do anything until you get the OK from your doctor. With your disorder, you might not be on the right meds.

Just added some lexapro as pdoc would like me off the luvox been on a long time. She doesn't feel I take enough benzos as Gad is official diagnosis now. Used to be panic disorder. No Axis II But plenty of medical Axis III's. Luvox doesn't want to leave as one time here a pdoc wanted baseline discontinued the luvox and raised the benzos very high and didn't sleep for two weeks. Ended in ER where the doc called the psych hospital uptown and consulted. They said go back on luvox. So I did and slept again. Wierd or what? Phillipa

Yes, very strange. But maybe this time it will be different if you come off the Luvox. You never know. Too bad you couldn't find something other than benzos to help with your anxiety.
Good luck!

Again, I think it would be good for you to slowly come off the Luvox and the valium and see what your baseline is. Things change. Maybe you need a different med combo for your particular disorders. Maybe new meds aren't working because the Luvox is getting in the way. I would seriously coming off your meds with your doctor's help.

You still haven't answered the above. ^^^^^^^^^^ and I have posted it twice. It's a good idea you know. A lot of doctors do that with their patients and then may go in a different direction with meds.
