Been on these 3 meds about 4 weeks, with Concerta at 2 weeks. Feeling a little bit farther out of the abyss...wanted to get feedback, opinions? Have taken just about every form of antidepressant/anticonvulsant/MAO, etc. with Cymbalta being the latest, which worked for about a year, barely.
Been battling Major Depression and/or BPO,nos for 35 years. Am allergic to Lithium and Tegretol (get the dreaded RASH).
Have a painful side effect since starting these meds - painful breasts, especially around my areolas and moving outwards?? Not having periods anymore (hysterectomy w/one ovary left doing a good job hormonaly) and am not experiencing menopause. Any ideas??

Welcome to PB!
Which MAOI have you tried and what dosage did you get up to? Do you find the Lamictal help with depression, or is it just your mood stabiliser right now.
Have you tried Abilify for depression?
Have you thought about alternative meds at all?
I am sorry that you have been suffering for so long. :(
