Anyone had any experience with the withdrawals? How long did it take?

I was on 400 original and did a slow taper down to 50mg over a couple of months with no significant no withdrawals. 4 days ago dropped to 25mg and have been getting withdrawals.

Spacey, 'out of body' feelings. Confusion, panic, headache etc....

Mood is still the same no better or worse.

No chance I am ever touching another psych med after my experiences with lactimal and zyprexa.

So I am wondering how long I can expect this to last?

Huxley forget your diagnosis but I did take 50mg of lamictal and experienced excessive spitting so bad I had a cut in front of me all the time. I just stopped no withdrawals at all. Was just thankful the saliva problem disappeared. Phillipa

just to let u know, i have the same issue with lyrica, ive been up to about 375 mg. but when i get down to 75mg i start have strange sensations in my body, and gradually more pain starts in and then my mood gets worse from the consistent pain. but of course when i go up to 150mg, the pain goes away all symptoms cease and 150 mg is the equivalent of 50mg lamictal.

im glad youre not having worsening depression like i did going off lyrica. maybe taking a benzo alongside lyrica, would ease the transition

most of these psych meds are good on pain to some degree. Does that mean the pain comes from depression? Not sure. For me it seems related. Might be that you need to add something else for pain while you get off of lamictal.
