So, I stumbled on a great book this weekend. "Manic, a memoir" by Terri Cheney. I only got about 1/2 way through as we had other plans than to read all day. However, from what I've read so far, I cannot wait to finish this beautiful take on bipolar depression. While I am not bipolar, I am blown away by the level of this author's honesty and lovely expression of mental ilness. It reads poetically almost:)

When you mention a book on PB, put double quotes and it will be a live link to Amazon.
This is dumb question given the name of the book, but does any of it focus on depression, or is it just about mania?
Thanks for posting the name.

Yes, it does talk about depression--in a very gut-wrenching way. What a great book, but I suppose I posted in the wrong area. Thanks for the tip re: quotes and Amazon--I had no idea:)

Yes, I too believe that there are no coincidences--Fate is an odd thing. I would highly recommend this book Maxine:)
