What exactly are you taking lamictal for? Bipolar depression? Mood stabilization? Unipolar Depression? All of the above?

Hopefully the agitation will go away as you increase the dose. You may find your sweetspot between 100 and 200 mg. This titration process may be frustrating and have you going through different phases in how you feel.

I personally did not do well with Lamictal. Recently I am having some success with an AD and 600 mg of extended release Lithium-plus all the other supplements I take and experiment with.

are you on anything else??
like an antidepressant

I ask because I had to go down on the antidepressant in combination with the increase in lamictal for it to work well for me

I'm sorry the 25mg of lamictal is effecting you that way. I didn't get agitation from it didn't feel it at 25. Maybe you could start at 12.5 and go more slowly? Phillipa

Iam on 100mgs zoloft...Icut that down today to 50mg
I would be unipolar depression but when I;mm on a ad I get manic...only depression when no ad. So I guess I'm bipolar when using an ad.

So that's bipolar III? Presents a problem if unipolar depression without an ad and you take one to relieve it and then become manic so how do you treat this seriously? Phillipa

You may fall somewhere in the bipolar spectrum.

Why did you go down to 50 mg Zoloft? Too much agitation/mania?

How is Lamictal going?
