Over the years, my Mom and many of my friends have said I'd make an excellent psychiatrist...
(I've helped many family and friends educate themselves about meds, often with good results and thank yous!)
I've begun to start thinking about eventually returning to work--I don't think I have the patience for medical school, but I've often wondered if having a mental health history bars one from becoming, say, a psychiatric NP in the US...
(I'll probably return to doing computer/telecom stuff when I go back to work, but it doesn't hurt to ask!)
