Hi,
I currently take 17.5 mg of Zyprexa, as well as 0.5 mg of ativan as needed for anxiety. I am wondering if Buspar is a better option than the ativan, since it does not cause dependency.
Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks

I was always told if took a benzo that buspar wouldn't work. I did take with a benzo once didn't work. Now some love it. Hoping the buspar advocates chime in with some positive. Phillipa

It might help, but buspirone has to be taken daily. Unlike lorazepam, it cannot be taken 'when required'.
