OK guys, I started adderall 10mg bid on feb 26th--all was good, except the last 7 days or so it had no effect, at the worst point, it felt like I was going through amphetamine WX for 2-3 days. That ended, but now the same dose no longer works at all and has left me depressed and without energy. I see my doc tomorrow, what should I say/do?
Parnate 90mg
Adderall 10 bid
Lamictal 200
Neurontin 300tid
Ativan 1mg prn
Temazepam 30mg prn for sleep

increase the parnate or go to dextroamphetamine....or both

Strangest thing. The adderall worked today; I can think of two reasons why:
1. Absorption problems due to my volatile stomach (yes, I tried tums, and that did not work)
2. I had two drinks last night. Alcohol is a NMDA antagonist, which I have read can reduce Adderall tolerance.
I am going to have one drink tonight and see if that helps. (Vodka-based drink, I know about the No-Nos with other types of drinks and MAOIs, although technically Adderall is also contraindicated, but I have a good shrink and have had no problems...)
