I am currently on lexapro and my gp wants to add lipitor because of high cholesterol levels. Is anyone taking both? Are there interactions between the two? thanks.

I am not aware of any interaction between Lipitor and Lexapro. SSRIs are frequently combined with Lipitor.
In rare cases, statins such as Lipitor have been associated with the development of sleep disturbances, memory loss, sexual dysfunction and depression. Just something to be aware of.

Thanks for the reply - I'm always nervous about adding new meds to the mix.

Under the FWIW and if it matters filing: I put 2-3 hours between the ingestions. Cardios are usually late afternoon and Lex at night. I've been on this trio for quite some time. The cardiovas meds were add ins and seriously, I have not noticed any problems.
Good Luck
