I always get akathesia when I start an ssri. I always get it when I stop an ssri. I also get it if I'm on too high a dose of an ssri. I'm worried about it becoming permanent?? herpills

Akathesia doesn't become permanent. It's just a transient effect of some drugs, especially old-line anti-psychotics. You might be thinking about tardive diskinesia, which can become permanent and is not a side effect of SSRIs, only APs and mostly the old APs.
