Im just thinking,when ssris came out the natural amino acid tryptophan a amino acid sold in gnc suddendly had a bad batch and was INSTANTLY banned off u.s shevles.
L-dopa another amino acid was removed when it became a drug.
GHB whether people like it or not is natural,gaba is the precursor to the ghb receptor,and the chemical metabolizes to water.
So glycine which does show some good studies on many emitonal disorders,for me as a add on mainly,what happens if its cleared as a drug.
Its hard to believe that people will spend tons of money on it as script when its available on any health shop website or store.?
I guess well see if they somehow ban it.Natural substances are a joke for them to ban,why?Because no one company owns it,so no one company will come out with the money to protect the rights of natural substances.
The fda did get screwed though with one,DMG which is di methyl glycine,glycine attatched to a di methyl carrier so it enters the brain more easly and potently.When the fda attempted to take this off market,anakmik who holds the patent came right out and challenged every argument and the fda like they did with aspirin backed right on off.
DMG by the way it one of the main treatments for autism to this day,and its freely sold at health stores.
So I guess well see,i peronsaly for nuero proetection value the profiles of glycine and taurine.
Tuarine although fda never pull the crap of removing it has based many meds on its profile,glycine,taurine both are inhibatory and i believe have anti glutamate effects,gaba would be the most potent however unlike taurine and glycine gaba is weak and doesent cross the blood brain barrier so its natural source never makes it to the brain.
This is why most gaba meds add a carrer,ghb is gaba with a hydroxide added as the carrier,gabitril with vinyl as the carrer,and even some natural ones like picamilion which has nicacin as its carrier.
If simple gaba crossd the brain u bet it be off the shelves in a heart beat.Anyone back to topic,looks like a small dose of both taurine and glycine would work well,feel free to read their profiles and tell me what u think.

Isn't Deplin pure folate vs. folic acid? I think you would have to swallow a whole bottle of folic acid supplement to get Deplin amounts?? herpills

Ueah but the official RDA recomded allowance is low,on the med deplin would the highly raised potent way be tested,i was on it and i was never tested.
