The official prescribing information says the following
depression as ad on therapy to AD max. 15mg/dmania in bpiolar disorder I max. 30mg/d
I have bipolar depression and my pdoc put me on 25mg/d because fewer wasnt stabilizing me. My question is if 25mg/d is not too much for my indication? I remember I had 10 days which I felt normal under 15mg/d but fall in depression again. So Abilify was rised to 20mg/d etc.I Take Lithium and Clomipramine

For unipolar depression, some people find that low dosages (2.5mg - 5mg) work best. I suffer from bipolar depression and take 10mg. 20mg does not provide me with additional benefit. You might need more. 30mg is generally safe. How much lithium do you take?
