I need to lose my Christmas weight gain (15 pounds) and since I can't take ephedra on the Parnate I am going to try Hoodia. Does anyone know of reputable brands. I don't think all hoodia are the same.

15 pounds in such a short time is way too much for me. I went from being underweight to a normal BMI which I don't like. I have to lose this weight and maybe another 20 pounds on top of that. God, I hate eating disorders so much. I am so sick of living this way. :(

Do you have a counselor to talk to about your eating disorder? If you are just now normal weight, that's great! I understand if you want to get down to your pre-holiday weight, as many of us do, but an additional 20 lbs. when you would already be underweight sounds dangerous. I know it's a disorder and really wish you would reach out to someone to process what the weight means to you and why you want to lose it so badly before resorting to dicey methods to lose it. I'm sorry if I'm stepping out of line, but I used to have an eating disorder too and know how dangerous these "weight loss binges" as I call them can be.

Thank you. I attend a support group for people with eating disorders. I am on the wait list at the hospital for treatment there as well. It's up to a year wait. We just don't have the resources in this stupid city I live in. I feel so alone with my anorexia, I really do. No one understands. Thanks for posting, you know what it's like.
