I have tried 3 days of the Concerta for ADHD and because it is a stimulant it does hurt my bladder.
I am sticking with the Depakote for now as a mood stabilizer (since I am getting irritable again - maybe the Concerta made me a little irritable too?).
Only thing is, the Depakote keeps me from sleeping (weird). When I take 1mg of Klonopin to sleep I am terribly hung over in the morning and get up too late.
Will depakote ever make me sleepy? I am also thinking of replacing my Concerta with Wellbutrin.
What can I take for sleep that won't leave me with a hang over? I am so desperate for sleep I may take a tiny dose of Seroquel.
Is Depakote and Wellbutrin a good combo? I think the Wellbutrin will help with the attention and focus and the Depakote will keep the Wellbutrin from making me manic.
Any thoughts?

I don't know of anyone who has tried it.

That makes a great deal of sense. You might want to add Lamictal as a third drug if there is residual depression. When combining Depakote and Lamictal, you must use 1/2 the usual dose of Lamictal because of the way the two drugs interact. 100mg would be a good target dosage for Lamictal in this situation.

Actually, I can't take Lamictal due to some serious side effects.
I'm kind of afraid of Depakote. I really don't want to get fat or gain any more weight.
I just want to get some good sleep and get out of this funk.
Trying to find the right combo is so hard.
Klonopin as a mood stabilizer has not worked.
Ugh

Wellbutrin is a poor substitute for a stimulant in the treatment of ADHD.
Try Straterra if you can't tolerate the stimulants.
Isn't there a question about your bipolar disposition?

BTW, you need to supplement with L Carnitine as Depakote depletes L Carnitines in your body. This may be one reason why Depakote causes weight gain. Carnitine plays a major role in transporting fat to the places where it can be burned for energy.
Depakote also depletes folic acid and biotin.
