My pdoc said that the 17 liver failures from nefazodone only a occurred as an isolated incident one time in Canada. Is this true?
Should I be concerned if I have elevated bilirubin? My other liver functions are normal, but I have some genetic thing where i don't breakdown bilirubin as well as others. My pdoc knows this and thinks its fine.

As long as you are being monitored on a regular basis by a physician I don't see much risk.
To help make things even safer, you should seriously look into adding pro-liver plants to your daily diet, which would include things like Milk Thistle capsules, Burdock capsules, Dandelion and Artichoke supps, and several other possibilities. Milk Thistile is the most well known and has literally hundreds of clinical studies behind it, but there are others as good or better. The plant world has some might good liver herbs that protect, rejuvenate, and balance liver function.

lol, i thought the opposite. I figured if the U.S. left it on the market it must be safe. I figured that Canada had to remove the drug because of all the legal issues with people dying in Canada. It might be like the contaminated batch of tryptophan, that stopped all shipments of tryptophan for a while.

I remember the tryptophan. Now interesting as with the health care system in Canada from what I've heard long waits, limited etc. Does that mean that alive people are healthier in Canada as the healthcare rations doesn't it? So I figured that if Europe also banned it must be something to it? They sure don't want added expenses?
